The UK Government has announced that applications for Chevening Scholarships are now open from 12 September!

Chevening Scholarship was created in 1953 and more than 50.000 scholars have been afforded the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom in a year. This scholarship aims to support young people who desire to make a positive impact and have the ability to make a lasting difference in their community and provide global solutions for the future. In general this scholarship aims to remove any barriers that determined leaders may face when bringing about positive change.

It’s important to note that this scholarship is fully funded. Award winning people will get the chance to live and study in the UK for a year and focus on achieving their professional goal and maximising the experience of lifetime.

Chevening Scholarship covers the following: The cost of tuition, travel to and from your home country, an arrival and departure allowance, entry visa fees, and reimbursement of the cost of tuberculosis testing up to £75 if required.

There are 2 parts of eligibility of participants. A qualified applicant is a citizen of an eligible country or territory, has completed an undergraduate degree, and has been accepted into an eligible UK university course. Also, those who hold refugee status and citizenship in a Chevening-eligible country can apply for a scholarship.

The second part of eligibility for Chevening scholarships requires work experience. All applicants must have spent 2,800 hours, or two years, working.

Applications should be submitted through this link.

StudyNet Group has been running close partnerships with a wide range of universities providing full support to local and international students with preparing and submitting the applications, receiving acceptance letters, obtaining student visas and booking accommodations in the UK.
